Here is something that I have been working on, and I thought I would share. I references other painters works, like Dan Dos Santos, to paint metal a bit better. I don't think it is necessarily painted well, But I am proud of it. I also wanted to experiment with using more layers to paint textures and and cut out what I don't need with the eraser. But for the most part everything is made up, no other references except for metal which was an array of painting that I was looking at. Hope you like it.

Here is my journey entry! Finally finished with it. I had to work the compo several times to get what I wanted, not to happy with the coloring, but another great piece to add to my portfolio!

Here is My spectacular challenge. What inspired this image was some of the happenings that was going on in my life and also my friends life. He is more like a brother to me. This image is pretty much self explanitory and I everyone can find meaning in this.

How I approach this: I took a lot of reference shots, grey scale then colored in overlay, Mostly painted in painter, Used Photoshop make corrections.
